Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Redmine 1-Click ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website at redmine1click.com and purchase our Product.
2. Data We Collect
We collect the minimum data necessary to deliver and improve the Product:
- Email address — provided at checkout, used to send you the download link and kept as part of your transaction record.
- Passwords — the database and Redmine admin passwords you enter (or generate) in the wizard are embedded directly into your installer script. Passwords are not kept in our database or transaction records. They exist temporarily on our server only during the checkout process and inside the script file during the 48-hour download window. Both are permanently deleted afterwards.
- Configuration data — the options you select in the wizard (OS, database engine, web server, domain, database name, admin username, install path, etc.). This data is used to generate your personalised installer script and is stored temporarily on our server for up to 48 hours to allow script download. It is then deleted.
- Transaction data — your email address, stack selection (OS, database, web server), Redmine/Ruby versions, purchase amount and currency. This data is retained as part of our business records.
- Website usage data — collected via Google Analytics (for example: pages viewed, interactions/events, approximate location, device/browser information, and referring page).
We do not collect payment card information. All payment processing is handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To generate and deliver your installer script via email.
- To respond to support requests if you contact us.
- To maintain transaction records and provide post-purchase assistance (e.g. re-sending download links).
- To measure website performance and improve the user experience using aggregated analytics data.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated third-party marketing.
4. Data Retention
- Passwords — not kept in our database or transaction records. They exist temporarily on our server only during the checkout process and inside the generated script file during the 48-hour download window, then permanently deleted.
- Configuration data (domain, database name, admin username, install path, etc.) — stored temporarily for up to 48 hours to allow script download, then deleted.
- Transaction records (email address, stack selection, purchase amount, transaction identifiers) — retained for as long as necessary to fulfil our business, legal, and tax obligations.
- Analytics data — retained by Google Analytics according to our configured retention settings.
5. Third-Party Processors
Paddle.com acts as our Merchant of Record and processes all payments. When you purchase, your payment data is handled directly by Paddle under their own Privacy Policy. We receive from Paddle only your email address and a transaction confirmation.
Google Analytics (Google LLC) helps us understand website traffic and usage patterns. Data collected through Analytics is processed under Google's policies: Google Privacy Policy.
6. Cookies
Our website uses Google Analytics cookies and similar technologies to measure traffic and how visitors use the site. These cookies help us improve content, navigation, and conversion flows.
You can accept or reject analytics cookies through the cookie banner shown when you first visit the site.
The Paddle checkout may also set cookies as part of the payment process, governed by Paddle's policy.
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@redmine1click.com.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption and restricted server access. We do not store payment card information.
